Chain Reaction is a Polish modern thrash metal group and « Vicious Circle » and its new opus. The tracks are dynamic and energetic with good guitars playing. I think that the group has a good guitarist’s duo that will bring a little plus to the group in their manner of playing in the future albums. Without being exceptional the tracks are well done with well placed breaks. The vocals are well at place, aggressive right as needed. The tracks are relatively varied, which give this album attractive. The influences of the group are (in the bio) Pantera and Machine Head, I do think that it is the Machine Head’s side which is much present. My favourite track is « Stark Reality » with its acoustic guitars passages and its clear vocals, very nice, as well as its guitars solo.
