Tracklist “Ballads Of A Hangman” :
Grave digger is back with its new album “Ballads Of A Hangman”, two years after « Liberty Or Death ». The group mixes heavy to power metal. This new album is powerful and heavy in the great majority of the tracks, but we also have a power ballad « Lonely The Innocence Dies » where the vocals are shared between Chris Boltendahl and Veronica Freedman (Benedictum). The album has fast even very fast tracks like « Ballad Of A Hangman », « Sorrow Of Dead », « Into The War » or « Stormrider » and we also have mid tempos such as « Grave Of The Addicted ». The riffs are powerful, the soli well done and keep all their melodies and the rhythmics efficient and not more less than powerful. My favourite tracks are «Into The War » or « Funeral For A Fallen Angel » but the others are not bad either except « Pray » which denote a little in this album. This album sends us big sound and the fans of the first hour won’t certainly be deceived.
