SMP Records - 2008

Well, I could start this review with that VENOM concert introduction "Ladies & gentlemen, from the very depths of hell, here is..." so DIE HARD remind me of VENOM when most of people were hating them ! DIE HARD share the same taste for outrage and rebellion and come very close to the early band's style when Thrash Metal was chaotic, dirty, evil & raw ! This is really a great release that DIE HARD unleash here, that will for sure please all into bands like VENOM, early SLAYER, early ONSLAUGHT & old-SODOM - real hammering blackened Metal without any compromise ! Those 6 songs take no prisoner and go straight to your face with their simple but so fuckin'efficient structures, one could even say this is Satanic Rock'N'Roll ! Vocals are really impressive in my opinion, in the sense they're not the typical thrash/black ones and still... come close to Cronos style - kinda deep & from beyond the grave like vocals ! In a word, if you're looking for a "back-to-the-roots" evil thrash band, DIE HARD is nothing less than what you can get at the best of the style ! AWESOME !!!
