"Silent Ruins" is the fourth album of the swedish group Isole and the second with Napalm Records. The style of the group is an epic doom metal. It is a quality album on the musical level as well as on the production. The tracks are melodic, heavy, slow and powerful at the same time and give of course a lot of dark atmospheres. The vocals are also powerful, much understandable and well at place. The riffs are slow and powerful and the compositions are much worked with sometimes a little progressive side that I had already felt when listening their album « Bliss Of Solitude ». what to say but if you are doom fans it is an album that you should not miss.
