Chris Laney is a swedish rock singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. He has been playing rock’n’roll all his life ! “Pure” is his first solo album.
For this album Chris Laney has been helped by J. Koleberg, Nalle Pahlsson, Vic Zino, Martin Sweet, Zinny Zan. The album has the benefit of the good production and the songs are pure hard rock ones with nice melodies to listen but you won’t find anything new in it, but who cares, if it is good to listen, good for the ears ? The backing vocals are very present in the refrains and I would even say that some of the songs have really a 80s sound, reminding me of some groups such as Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Warrant… you do not take any risk by buying this album !
