“Echoes Of Human Decay” is the second album from the Italian group Dominance. The death metal of the group is classic, traditional, without any surprise. The group mixes techniques parts, especially on the guitars and heavy rhythmic with hammered drums at wishes. I find the vocals, even if they are well at place, very little varied as a whole. Some tracks are catchy, others not. The compositions are sometimes complex like « Dead Mechanism » and take the risk to surprise the listener. We have passages which sound very American death metal or on the contrary much Swedish, without forgetting the purely black metal passages like in « Duellists ». The track which can really be taken out of the album is « The Siege » with its rather rock’n’roll solo. At the end nothing really new neither different but if you like the style, you will listen with pleasure this album.
