Carlos Lichman is a shredding guitarist coming from Brazil. « Firestorm » is his first album and if you like instrumental, shredding and guitars, you won’t be deceived with this one. It is an instrumental album with which you won’t get bored … of course you’ll like to like guitars. The tracks are very good musical quality, with a music which sometimes wants to be aggressive and varied. Of course all through the compositions Carlos Lichman shows us all the wideness of his knowledge in term of shredding, technique that the rather control well. If the technique side in undeniable, the tracks are not empty of « soul », they have a lot of feeling, sensivity and emotions. The tracks are at the same time technique, fast and melodic. We have prestigious guests who come for some soli that is to say Kiko Loureiro on « Shred Dogs », Pablo Soler on « Drug Dealers », Francesco Faren also on « Drug Dealers » and Jim Horne on « Intense ». it is hard to take out one track rather than another one as they all are nice to listen and successful. It is an album that I can only recommend you if you like guitars and shredding.
