“Shades Of Eternity” is the fourth album of this Swedish group Stonelake. The style of the group is melodic rock/heavy metal with some progressive influences. The songs are good but not exceptional in themselves and it not the kind of album that you listen and listen again several times. All the songs contain the presence of the keyboards which make them richer and nice guitars soli. Peter Grundström has a high-pitched voice and one’s might be bored at the end of the album even before... Personally, knowing the group since the second album I am a little disappointed… but it is just a question of taste.
