"Metal Minds" is the second album released in 2009 by the young American group Razor Fist. The style the group plays is a speed/thrash metal coming from the 80s. All the songs are as fast as one another. If the music is fast the vocals are also rather fast. Besides the vocalist has a rather high pitched voice, when you’re listening the first time the album that’s ok but if you listen to it several times like I did, you appreciate his voice neatly less…
The tracks are efficient and direct. The rhythmic of the songs are furious and the soli rather well done with a lot of changing in rhythm. The songs won’t revolutionize the style but they are well done and energetic. I do think that the group has its fans but I’m not one of them.
