Self-release
10/2009

After having released a demo and two albums “Transcendental” and “Delusions” on Candlelight Records, To-Mera has come back with EP “Earthbound” in self-release has the group has separated from its label. Four tracks of progressive metal with strong and powerful guitars but also with different influences such as oriental melody on “Arcane Solace” but also some jazz passages and beautiful keyboards layers. Besides the jazzy side is more mark on this EP than on the previous albums. The compositions are worked on the music level with sometimes well done and well find arrangements and the riffs are worked, complex but keeping, mostly of the time the melodic aspect. Personally I find Julie Kiss’s voice a little monotonous one the songs but she is well at place on them and she’s right. Of course you’ll have to listen several times this EP as you know that To-Mera’s music is not always accessible from the beginning.
