Otargos is a black metal French group from Bordeaux which has been formed in 2001 and this “Fuck God-Disease Process” is its fourth album. This album is even darker than the other ones… No need to say that the group plays black metal, an aggressive black metal from the beginning to the end. For Otargos there is no God no Evil and when you’re dead well … you’re dead ! If you like black metal this album will please you as the compositions are good, aggressive and powerful, unhealthy with a production which is a rather of good quality for this metal style. The tempos are varied as you have mid-tempos, others faster and other slower ones and the atmospheres are also different like those dark sinister passages. You’ll fine some guests such as : Carnifex (Nefarium) on « Erased », JB from Svart Crown on” Nullabsollut” and Runenlyd from Artefact on Nullabsolut and on “Pour Toi Une Renaissance”without talking of all the screams, supplications etc….
The compositions are well done, but of course I’m not a fan of black metal so I’ll let the real fans appreciate this music at its true value.
