“Close To Dawn” is the third album of the French group K.O.B, some of you might know some members of the group as they are coming from the 80s Wotan. Meanwhile the group had a new vocalist Nicolas Blaizeau (E.X.I.T.) and his manner of singing goes well with the style of the music. It is a mix of heavy rock/heavy metal with influences coming from the 80s so you won’t find anything new neither original. The riffs are powerful and melodic as well as the rhythmic section but I find too bad that there aren’t many soli at least for me. The compositions are powerful, heavy, energetic and sometimes airy. It is a good album nothing more nothing less.
