Black Lodge Records/Innovative Promotion 2009
Defueld first album is a mix of classic rock and heavy metal with some elements coming from death, prog, nu metal. The guitars are incisive and sharp, the keyboards, when they are present add melody to the songs. I do think that it is them that make some songs richer than they are. The songs are well conceived but simple and are not exceptional but their melodies are nice to listen and the soli rather well done like the one of the first song. You’ll also find some keyboards soli which are well done but not exceptional neither. The vocals are a mix of clear, angry and scream ones. At the end an album which will please the youngest ones but for me it is one album that I’ve listened and that I will forget as well…
