Metal Heaven/MurMur Promotion

Steve Grimmet is someone who needs to move, to sing, to write … and this since the 80s. Always being in heaving metal whatever the group he is or was with (Grimreaper/Lionsheart/Medusa/Onslaught….. always melodic heavy metal. so you won’t find any surprise in this album, all is coming from the 80s styles.
With the collaboration of the excellent guitar player Steve Stine he does a good job in the composition of the songs but it’s hard to take out one song rather than another one. “Memory” can be considered as an introduction to the album, only instrumental, at guitars. Then we have heavier songs which follow this soft one. Musically, there’s nothing to say, Stine’s guitar is well at place, he plays good and well done soli and vocally speaking, there’s also nothing to do as the ensures perfectly his vocals parts.
To resume, you’ll find several ballads/power ballads, speed songs, power metal songs, we cannot say that this album isn’t varied but I have hard time to be catch by it. You will have to make your own opinion…
