M & O Music/M & O Office 2009
“Travel Diary From Inner Landscape” is the second album from the rock/heavy rock French group Holophonics. The group is still giving us an energetic, efficient and modern sound from the first song to the last one. The vocalist’s voice is melodic but sometimes a little aggressive as well and goes pretty well with the style of the group. The songs are melodic at the same time. The sound is big and the production is good. The rhythmic section is powerful as well. If the songs are well written, more mature, I do think that they look like each other, and give a little monotonous side to the album. I hope that the group will be more imaginative for the next album to give less monotonous songs (at least for me !).
