Brennus Music

Renaud Hantson comes back this time with Furious Zoo and the “IV” opus. You won’t find nothing new in this album just good hard rock songs, exactly what you had find in the other albums. They are efficient with efficient riffs and the guitars give good soli in each song. The compositions are well done, coming right from the 80s with a powerful and an efficient rhythmic. You’ll have guest in this album as for example Christian “Zouille” Augustin, on vocals on “A Dead Man Won’t Lie”. I’ve always like Renaud’s voice, whatever the groups or even in his solo career, a voice that you can recognize among all other voices. He has a strong, powerful, melodic voice, pleasant to listen, at least for me, but it is true that he doesn’t have a “typical” rock/metal voice.
The album is well balanced because the compositions are varied. There is just one song which slow done the all of it, “A Dead Man Won’t Lie”. The fans of the genre should not be deceived by this last opus of the group; I like it but not more than that.
