Bernett Records/Murmur Promotions 2009
"Hell & Fury" is the sixth album from the french heavy metal group Mystery Blue. After some line up’s changing and some splits, the group is still alive and still plays heavy metal. The vocalist’s voice, Nathalie, still goes pretty well with the style of the group and they are well ensures even if I think that they are sometimes lacking of some power. The tracks are, for a great majority, relatively fast. The songs are well done and they contains excellent riffs, are for a part dynamic but I think they could be richer than they are. The album ends with a beautiful song “When Time Is Pain”, on which Nathalie’s voice comes delicately on it. The one’s who appreciate the metal coming right from the 80s won’t be deceived (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden…). If it is a good album, it is not one which will revolutionize the style; neither that can be demark of what is release.
