“Our Twilight” is the first album from the group Barren Earth. The members of the group are all coming from different group such as Kreator, Swallow The Sun and Moonsorrow.
The group wanted to do sometime different of what they’re doing with their own groups. The result is a mix of neo classic, death metal, rock and metal with some progressive, I won’t say that it is very much different than that, well done but not different. It is sure that the musicians as well as the singers control their instruments and their voices. The songs are dark and melodic at the same times but I do think that they are lacking of energy. It is not a bad album but it is surely not the album that I would buy if I had the money to only buy one !
