After some little changing in the line up “Clash Of The Elements” the third album from The Poodles has been released and the group still plays hard rock melodic and takes its sources in the glam/hard rock from the 90s. The songs are lively, with nice melodies. Of course there is nothing original in the songs, they stay classic for the style but you have pleasure listening them. Vocally speaking, there is nothing to say, the vocalist Jacob Samuel, has a strong, powerful, warm, full of feeling and rather high pitched voice, and he is at his place, sings right with appropriate tones. Musically speaking, it is the same, each musician control its instrument.
It is hard to take out a song rather than another one because as a whole it is a good album even if there is nothing exceptional, unless maybe “I Rule The Night” because when it enters in your head in the morning, it stays for a long time …. . Every fan of the style should appreciate this “Clash Of The Elements”.
