Lars Chriss is the only founder member of the group Lion’s Share and “Dark Hours” is their last album. The style of Lion’s Share is heavy/power metal. As a vocalist you will find Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors/Wutherings Heights/Space Odyssey). He has a strong and powerful voice and just of what is needed of aggressiveness a lot in the tone of Dio. The songs are heavy, strong and melodic. It is hard to take out one song rather than another out as they’re good as one another with great guitars lines, great lyrics, great melodies and a great rhythmic section. You’ll find beautiful and technical soli like the one in “The Bottomless Pit”. The energy is present all through this album all keeping the melody at the same time. you’ll find some keyboards on some tracks like on “Demon In Your Mind”.
Sure there’s not surprise while listening the songs but you really have a great pleasure when listening to them.
