Pitch Black Records 02/2010
“Terra Incognita” from the Cypriot group Arryan Path sends is to a trip through the pyramids of Egypt. The first song “Cassiopeia”, nearly than 10 mn long, is slightly progressive, heavy, with choirs and you’ll find some oriental sounds. The compositions are epic with oriental melodies like the song “Terra Incognita”. You won’t find anything original here because nowadays it is difficult to make something original even in progressive music. “Minas Tirtih” will send you right into the Lord Of The Ring”. The singer has a good, powerful, and strong voice that he perfectly controls and the musicians control their instruments as well. The album has the benefit of a good production which puts especially the guitars well a front the whole.
