The German group P.A.I.N. Management with its album “Lobotomy, gives us an album which mixes progressive metal, melodic metal to nu metal element in their sound and you’ll even find some melodic parts whatever they come from the vocals side or the music one. The vocalist has sometimes a very harsh voice and sometimes a nice and pleas clean voice. Musically speaking the riffs are modern and much more near than nu metal than classic metal one. The rhythmic section is powerful and the album has the benefit of a good production.
I cannot say that it is a not well done album but it is the kind of album that I wouldn’t listen often even if is good for the style.
