The Italian group Scarlet Violet has released « Animated Freaks » and its style is still glam/sleaze rock with a little punk influence within.Influences coming among others from Alice Cooper for the 70s, Europe, Twisted Sister, Ratt, Warrant for the 80s. If it’s written “suitable for children age 3 – 6" on the cover because there are some Warner design on it, just forget it for your little child ! The songs are well written but nothing more, they are classic, with already heard riffs but well put. The tracks are dynamic, melodic with catchy refrain. The vocals are not always perfect and sometimes aren’t always right, some work must be done on the side, but the fact is that the punk “side” allow to sing not “perfectly”.
