ATMF/MurMur Promotion 04 – 2010
An Autumn For Crippled Children (AAFCC to be short) has released some months ago their first album “Lost”. The style of the group is a mix of atmospheric doom metal with black metal and post-rock. You’ll find different atmospheres that will bring you into an incredible journey, into the crazy world of the group. The music is rich and the mix of the styles is pretty well done. All is done for the listener to have dark, desperate and hopeless emotions and feelings. The riffs are dissonant and dirty, the tempos are varied, slow, atmospheric or fast. Whatever the melodies, they are unhealthy, heavy and depressive and the greatest feeling is melancholy and the ambiences are also unhealthy and dark. The album has the benefit of a good production which gives you all the details of the music and the instruments. I’m not particularly fond of this kind of music but I think that this group will interest some of you.
