JOHN 5 "The Art Of Malice" CD

Mascott Records/Replica Promotions

Some of you might know John 5 to be the Marilyn Manson’s guitarist and to be now the Rob Zombie guitarist. “The Art Of Malice” is the sixth solo album of John 5. This is a good instrumental album and I’m sure a lot of guitar players will like it and even those who don’t like instrumental albums. John 5 controls perfectly his instrument and you’ll find of course some good shredding parts, but that’s not all. You’ll find some parts wit flamenco, country, folk, rock, metal, etc. Billy Sheehan is invited on one track “Ya Dig”. “Fractured Mirror” is a cover of Ace Frehley (Kiss), not as good as the original. The last track “The Last Page Turned” is an entirely piece at acoustic guitars, in a folk style.  “The Art Of Malice”  is a well balanced album with well structured songs and musicians who control their instruments.
Fans of guitars, of guitarists such as Joe Satriani, Malmsteen, etc will really appreciate this “The Art Of Malice”.
