This album “Magic & Mayhem - Tales Of The Early Years” is release by Finnish group Amorphis to celebrate their 20th anniversary and it is a retrospective of what have done the group since their beginning. This album contains new recorded versions of the songs of the first three albums (1992's "Karelian Isthmus", 1994's "Tales From The Thousand Lakes" and 1996's "Elegy") with different musical arrangements and a better quality sound. All is done with the current line up. The last song is a cover from The Doors “Light My Fire”; it certainly changes a little from the first song …this album doesn’t bring anything new as all the songs are known.
