Firestorm has released last year its first album « Web Of Deceit » after two demos. The style of the group is progressive power metal. The songs have different influences from heavy to speed, thrash metal, progressive metal and even symphonic metal. Those who know the group will find some of the songs which were already in the demos. I really like the instrumental parts in the songs like the first song that we can consider as an intro but also the song “The Never Ending Course Of Time Pt.1”. The musicians are rather good and control their instruments but we cannot say that the songs are exceptional even if they’re nice to listen. Firestorm is nearly progressive metal with the track “Falling To Alienation” and let’s presage good things for the future of the group. Generally the compositions are melodic even very melodic, with nice guitars riffs and nice keyboards background. Vocally, the vocalist Riccardo Curzi has a nice voice to listen.
