Tracklist :
Two groups from the North of France for two different styles, which is quite good, at least the feeling of hearing twice the same group won’t be here… 6 titles as a whole, so 3 for each…Mass Grave opens the hostilities with its death/thrash metal style… and here, i want to say : prog’ fans, run away !!! The trio does not get bored too much with technique, neither with too much worked melodies… have they preferred to concentrate themselves on raw energy! It is uncompromising, brutal, fast, basic… but thanks God it is so good! It gives the envy to frenzied headbanging, even furious mosh-party! The vocals are near to growls without being into the ultra guttural… the tracks besides their basic appearance are spiced with little breaks and tempos changes which lightened nicely the style of the group… they could make think to the Americans from Cianide without the death-doom side but with a more punk approach in the spirit! At the end, 3 titles which prove to be an excellent surprise and which give you really the envy to hear more from the part of Mass Grave! To work guys, we are expecting more!!! Let’s go to the other one!!! DunkelNacht links up without any pity with its resolutely black metal style! A “submachine gun” rhythm box hammers your brain from the beginning, which do not let you breath! Cold vocals, shrill, menacing… you can feel hatred in all that!!! On the guitars and rhythmics side, that gets move on, all knowing combine more supported tempos and other ultra fast, with always a worry for the harmonies, which give without any problem a “plus” to their music… good fast and full of hatred black metal with good vocals combinations which should seduce the fans of the genre…
