When you listen the Houston’s songs it seems to me that I’m listening to Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Boston and even bon Jovi. The style of the group in AOR (Adult Oriented Rock) and it is surely an album than you will appreciate. Every elements of this style can be finding in the compositions. The melodies are much present and the singer ensures perfectly the vocals
The songs are classic on the writing and the music. You’ll find strong choirs, beautiful keyboards layers and nice guitar soli. The vocalist has a very nice and pleasant and rather high pitched voice to listen which goes perfectly with the style. As guest you’ll find Tommy Denander, Tomas Vikström, Mats Olausson, etc.
Surely nothing new in this album, but a real pleasure to hear a nice and melodic voice and nice melodies. I’m sure that the fans of this style that the Americans really appreciate, among others, will appreciate this “Houston”.
