Alexis is the project from the Chilean vocalist Freddy Alexis (Whitchblade) and this album « Birds Of Prey » is first one. The style of this album is melodic heavy power metal. Alexis’s voice is strong and powerful. He does all the vocals performance and he does this easily, all seems natural for him. The guitars are important and give good soli like in “shadows”. The guitars arrangements are well done. The songs are classic but really good and nice to listen.
You’ll find an instrumental track in “Forest”.
You’ll find three bonuses at the end including an acoustic ballad “Without You”, “The Witchblade” and “Killing Truth”. It is difficult for me to take out one song of the album rather than another one because they are all good. Those who like power heavy metal should appreciate this album as much as I had appreciated it. The time is for you to discover a very good vocalist.
