Buttered Bacon Bicuits is a side project composed of musicians coming from different Italians groups such as Goldrust, Crimson Butterfly, Circus Nebulas and others. The style of the group is progressive rock coming from the 70s and “From The Solitary Woods” is its first album.
Even the cover makes me think of an album coming from that period. The compositions are much varied so you’re not bored while listening to it. The vocalist/guitar player of the group is talented. He has a strong voice but a lot of feelings also emanate from him. Some songs are simple but groovy and nice to listen.
Sometimes the style can be approach from groups such as Led Zeppelin, other times to the Pink Floyd and at the end the group plays some country style and I think that the group wanted to please itself but it is rather well done.
It is hard to take out one song rather than another one as first they are all different and second because they are rather well done.
