11 - 2010

The Quireboys has just released their second album, “Live In London”. It is their second album as the first one “A Bit Of What You Fancy” was released in 1995, when they were managed by Sharon Osbourne. “Live In London” is release with a two-disc CD and DVD. This two-disc CD/DVD was recorded in England at the Marquee Club during the 2004 "Monsters Of Rock" tour. The group is lead by the charismatic vocalist Jonathan Gray, aka Spike. The style of the group is what we call “hair metal” and they have compete with great groups such as Gun and Roses, Poison, Cinderella and Bon Jovi. They could succeed if the grunge style has not arrived because their music has classic rock guitars parts and the song writing wasn’t exceptional. So they came back in 2000 with some good hard rock tracks and they do still exist !
It is not an excellent or an exceptional album but you’ll take pleasure listen it. This live is intense and energetic without forgetting the ballad “I Don’t Love You Anymore”. .
