“Days Without Hope” is the fifth album of the Belgian one man group Until Death Overtakes Me. Stijn Van Cauter plays guitar, bass guitar, electric violin, keyboards and does the vocals. The style of the group is symphonic ambient funeral doom metal. The music is slow, deep and for me monotonous and especially sad. However you’ll find an ambient side which is nice to listen quietly. The riffs are slow the heavy. The voice is extremely low. The songs are showing sadness, death and sorrow. If you are fan of Stijn Van Cauter, you’ll like his last album.
