“IV” is the fourth album from the Swiss group Pure Inc. the style of Pure Inc. is a mix of heavy metal and rock and even some grunge. The vocalist, Gianni Pontillo, still has his powerful voice. He can be very energetic in his vocals but can also have a clean and melodic voice. His voice looks like the one of Chris Cornell from Soundgarden but has also a little Zakk Wildd’s side. The compositions are well varied, for example some metal style with “Blood runs Black”, some hard rock with “Take Me Away” or some rock with “Number” and so on. Some songs have really catchy refrains.
To be short “IV” is an excellent album which confirms all the talent of the group.
