Kim’s Over Silence has released its first album “Carpe Diem”. The style of the group is progressive metal with an experimental side. The album begins with an “Overture/Opening Carpe Diem” which gives you a true slap in your face for the guitarist that some of you might be. You’ll find some shredding at guitars of course and some free jazz at piano! Mind-blowing!!!
Olivier Gueho is a real talented guitar player, a good shredder. All the compositions are technique, melodic, complicated, and not always easy to apprehend if you’re not into music.
Olivier Gueho is a guitar player in the vein of Patrick Rondat, Yngwie Malmsteen, John McLaughin, and Al Di Meola. The rhythmic section is ensure by Michael Saccoman at the drums and Frank Hermany (Adagio) is in charge of the bass. You’ll also fine nice piano parts in the compositions. Besides the vocalist Gus Monsanto (former Adagio) ensures nicely and with talent his parts.
Most of the songs are instrumental ones. It is a varied album with catchy melodies and rhythmic changes.
